Federation of parents and guardians

A woman refers to the Association of Parents and Guardians, in whose framework she worked as a teacher.

V.Μ.: There was YMCA at Park Avenue which had a very, very good principal, who allowed us from in there to do various things. Our first task was to organize the Greek schools. At the time there existed the community schools where down there at… at Saint Trinity there were schools, but we managed within the foreign schools eh… like… eh to include the… the Greek language afterwards, after the children finished school, they went. Matzorines and myself we are the first teachers to have taught at… at these schools of the Association of Parents and Guardians.
