“Uninvited”

RES.: In your life over here did you hang out more with Greeks or more with Canadians?
P.P.: Myself, no, myself, in general, but I’ll talk about myself, I had my brothers-in-law, my sisters-in-law. Afterwards I brought over my siblings, we were in our own circle, we were close all the time. We lived because the town was not large and we were going, I mean, you know what, I was taking my family, I was going to my brother’s or to my brother’s-in-law. Uninvited, we were gathering, we were doing gatherings, besides of the church we were doing, many parties and such… we constantly supported these but also in the houses and we were trying with the children to speak Greek and we were conversing with them in Greek and such. We tried and my children have learned.
